Minutes of ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING held on Thursday 8th May 2008 at Crossgates Community Centre at 7.45 pm.
Present: Nick Shepperd, Huw Jefferies, Terry Simpson, Phil Knill, Derek Price, Councilor Fred Barker, Peter Cross,
Cynthia Shepperd (taking Minutes), 6 members of the local community.
Apologies: John Harding, Jo Earley (Clerk)
Co-option onto Committee of Nick Shepperd and Derek Price. Unanimous.
Acceptance of Standing Orders.
A warm welcome extended to new member of the Community Council, Mr. Peter Cross.
Election of Chairman: Nick Shepperd proposed by Huw Jefferies and seconded by Terry Simpson.
Election of Vice Chairman: Huw Jefferies proposed by Nick Shepperd and seconded by Phil Knill. Both positions agreed unanimously.
Mrs. Shepperd as WI Representative to Community Centre Committee will also represent the Community Council at meetings on their behalf.
