Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 1st July 2010

2. Minutes from last meeting - approved
Matters arising - Code of Conduct Training attended by Wendy, very informative.
3. Highway Matters
· Grass cutting between Pen y Bryn and Bridge has not been done, very untidy, Derek to follow up as community council pay for
extra cutting at this time of year.
· Fence outside old Hay & Brecon Farmers site is still obstructing speed limit sign and pavement, Derek to follow up.
4. Update from Powys County Council
· None
5. Village and Community Issues
· Although the path through Church Farm is untidy the route exists and is not wholey obstructed to speak off, the right of way still exists.
6. Website Update
· 3632 hits to date, proving a useful community asset.
· Ringmaster emails regularly updated
· Circular walks needs updating – clerk to forward info to Peter Cross
7. Financial Reports
· Current balance on 22nd May - £1501.01 current account
· Current Balance on 22nd May - £947.26 savings account
· Clerk invoice for May - £161.44
· Insurance renewal received - £354.92
8. Correspondence
· Shelter Cymru – charity letter – noted, no action
· One Voice Wales – National Training Programme – noted, no action
· WAG – Local Authority Bylaws in Wales Consultation paper – Huw to read
· PCC - Declaration of office forms – filed for future reference
· Ombudsman – Public Services for Wales annual report 2009/10 – Terry to read
9. Planning
· Planning register received again by post – clerk to 'return to sender'
· Application granted for P2010/0442 Oaktree View – info letter
· Application granted for P2010/0483 - info letter
· Follow up with property in village that has questionable extensions and building on site; last chance for response from planning as all
our queries and comments seem to go unnoticed – will be followed up by complaints procedures. Clerk to action.
10. Any other Business
· Clerk confirmed all paperwork needs to be kept for 7 years prior to archiving – any volunteers to sort through pre November 2007?
