Minutes from last meeting - OK
Matters arising - Fence over speed limit signs still outstanding
- Community Centre Update on website
Acceptance of resignation from Councillor Jenny Bowman due to move from area.
3. Highway Matters
· Derek has referred verge cutting on A44 from last meeting minutes to highways at PCC.
· Mobile catering van has been situated in layby opposite Church farm – Derek has checked legalities of this Trunk Road Agency and seems legitimate.
· Derek to follow up signage for Penybont station
4. Update from Powys County Council
· None
5. Village and Community Issues
· Query re wreath for this years rememberance service – clerk to follow up
· Update for Penybont Station – will attend November meeting with further progress update
· Community Centre wish list to be discussed at next meeting – what is achieveable this year?
· Crossgates School Anuual Firework display on Friday 5th November
6. Website Update
· 3989 hits to date
· Ringmaster format changed
· Circular walks – on hold at PCC as Kevin Straw has left. Next funding will be available Easter 2o11, so no new updates or work until then.
7. Financial Reports
· Business Money Manager Account - £947.43.
· Request from Community Centre for rental invoice as outstanding since April
· Clerk invoice for August £185 - paid

· PCC Improving links with town and community councils – noted and filed
· PCC Rural housing enabler – a guide for Local councils on affordable housing booklet – noted and filed
