Matters Arising:
Rubbish bins in the area had been cleared.
3. Highways Matters
Belisha Beacon reported not working – D Price to follow up asap
Bus Shelter – D Price reported that there was a surplus one available in Brecon but other c.councils had expressed an interest. Update at next meeting
Grass verge at Penybryn still not repaired where heavy traffic had damaged it.
Uneven path at Penybryn needing attention and also a drop curb is required for resident in the area. Huw to contact George Lloyd at PCC Highways.
Terry reported weeds on new tarmac footpath between Tanyfron and Rock Road – potential tripping hazard.
Storm drain above Tanyfron is blocked – needs sorting before bad weather starts – Huw and Terry to action.
Night Street Lighting – decision deferred by PCC for consultation, despite survey/results being given.

Invoice for Clerks wages received for Feb, Mar and Apr period - paid

Risk Reduction plan – Peter Cross to evaluate
Code of Conduct to be photocopied for all committee members
7. Planning Applications
Councilor Fred Barker to stay as not currently on any planning committees.
P2008 0605- 37 houses to be erected in field next to Tanyfron. Representatives from Tanyfron present at meeting to list objections. 14 points raised and will be forwarded in letter by clerk to Planning Officer as a matter of urgency. Residents to also send letters of objections/protest.
Councilor Barker to write to Planning Department to request that application is heard by full planning committee and for himself to attend as the face of the local objector.
Objectors to approach Kirsty Williams and Nick Bourne for their support in the matter.
Six local representatives left the meeting.
8. Any other Business
Derek offered congratulations on behalf of committee to Fred Barker on retaining his seat as County Councillor. Councilor Barker in return thanked him and hoped to justify our faith in him.
Councilor Barker felt that we should bring committee up to 9 members and advertise on notice board and approach possible candidates for co-option.
Complaint of drumming still being heard in Rock Road Area also unapproved living in a stable area. – Councilor Barker to action.
Derek, Huw and Terry to contact planning monitoring officer to add more weight to complaints.
